MS Announce Live Mesh – Sync in the Cloud

MS Live Mesh
Microsoft have just announced their new web-based Live Mesh system. Allowing you to link and sync folders in the cloud, the system also allows you to remotely control the desktops of other computers in your Mesh.
It looks like an interesting new service and will allow users to share information more freely between PCs, phones (and soon Macs) whether around the home or around the world.

The system is currently classed as a Tech Preview but you can apply to join the program (requires a Windows Live ID).

“Imagine all your devices—PCs, and soon Macs and mobile phones—working together to give you anywhere access to the information you care about.

With Live Mesh, you can spend less time managing devices and data and more time connecting with family and friends or collaborating with colleagues.”
